Currently, I am living in British Columbia, on the Sunshine Coast. I am a retired engineer and technical writer who dabbles in photography as a hobby. I was born in Scotland and spent my childhood and university days in the city of Glasgow. From there I moved to Montreal, Canada; Vancouver, BC; Los Altos, California; then back to Vancouver after four years of ocean cruising on a 34 foot sailboat with my husband. Most of my working years were spent in the Telecommunications field and the Semicondutor industry. The last few years, before retirement I worked for the Provincial Ministry of Attorney General. I now live on the waterfront in a small coastal town surrounded by beautiful scenery and friendly people. As well as photography, I like to spend time painting, scrapbooking, sewing and putting together a condo newsletter once a month. Having several hobbies means life is never boring. When I get tired of one pastime, I just move on to another. My current plan is to spend considerably more time in 2012 with my photography as the subjects here are endless and time is available at last.
